Weather in Tunisia
When to visit, what to expect
It is not possible to describe Tunisian Weather in a unified way. Tunisia is a diverse country, in the north you find a narrow coastal strip backed by mountains; in the central and western district you find mountain and plateau country; and a low-lying region in the south which is either steppe or desert, the fringe of the Sahara.
The Tunisian coastline, where most tourists visit, has a climate typical to Mediterranean countries; wet, cool winters, and hot dry summers.
If you go during the winter seasons - just plan for a Sahara desert exploration if you have a stretch of rain approaching!
